LA CoMotion 2017

Taking place in downtown Los Angeles’s Arts District, LA CoMotion Conference & Expo is where Global mayors, leading technologists, public transport operators, venture capitalists, start-ups and established players from around the world come to show what they believe is the future of transportation. From testing self-driving vehicles, to checking out the next electric scooter and bike the event is devoted to the future of urban mobility and filled with immersive and inspirational talks, demos and exhibits. PDW built excitement towards the event by launching a digital international marketing campaign. PDW was also responsible for conceptualizing the programming for the public expo, creative direction, floorplan design, site logistics, partner and exhibit activations, technical production, workshop execution, online registration, branding of the event and the overall design.

TEDFellows Retreat 2013: Whistler, British Columbia

Each year the TED Fellows program invites forty people from around the world to participate in the TED or TEDGlobal Conference. Individuals are selected across all disciplines to participate in the unique mentorship program, which aims to develop the strength of their achievements and their potential for impact.

PDW produced the TED Fellows Retreat in 2013 which brought together a dynamic group of people for a four-day program ‘of, by and for Fellows’. It included workshops, art installations, tech demos and talks. The Fellows took the stage to address a packed house with updates on their latest projects.

TEDCity2.0 2013: Manhattan, NY

In 2013, PDW produced TEDCity 2.0 at The TimesCenter in New York City.  The event was co-curated and co-hosted by Chris Anderson, John Cary and Courtney Martin.  It surfaced stories of urban ingenuity and interdependence from across the globe, and featured an unexpected mix of 20+ speakers (including several 2012 City 2.0 award winners).  The event and its live stream coincided with self-organized TEDxCity2.0 events over a 48-hour period.
